Characteristics and Functions

  1. Copepode that grows in the pure environement is selected, quickly cleaned, disinfected and frozen in sterile environment to retain all their natural nutrients and great tastes that fish loves.
  2. Copepoda contains high level of protein, fat, especially preferable HUFA ( highly unsaturated fatty acid ) and indispensable amino acid which is important to larvae growth. They can be consumed to enhance larvae immunity and survival ratio.
  3. Good stability and suspension in water, strong attraction for larvae make it above 90% eaten. Maintain a safe and non-pollluted environment and can be used economically and conveniently.

Suggested usage

  • Bubble copepode in filtered seawater for 5-10 minutes, about 80% of which is between 0.5 to 1.0mm in length, then spread evenly into the hatchery pond. It is favored by larva of shrimps, fishes and crabs with the feeding of 4 to 6 times a day.
  • At the reared density of 100 thousand larvae/m3, 1-2 gram / ton ( 1-2 ppm ) is suggested to be used at 4-6 times per day.
